The Lord teaches us in His Word, the Bible, that every individual is His special creation. God created individuals in His own image. He loved them so much that Jesus tells us in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but has eternal life.

At First Baptist we are far from perfect, but we know that everyone needs a place where they can come and hear about the love of God, learn about the Lord from His Word, find friendships and connect with people in a safe and friendly environment. Here you can connect with people and with the Lord; you can worship, learn, grow, and enter into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus that will change your life now and for eternity.

 

We try to provide that type of atmosphere in every service and activity but we have a special place for that to focus on the individual in a small group setting. We call our small groups Sunday school. There are classes for all ages and there is a class for you with a teacher prepared to help you learn from God’s Word and apply its truth to real life. There are people waiting to learn your name and welcome into a special small group that you can be a part of right away.

We have groups for every age from newborns to senior adults. We have places for couples, and places for just men or just ladies. We have preschool, nursery, children, and teenage groups too.
